Responsibilities

• Prepare and Analyze financial statements.
• Maintain accurate general ledgers, including but not limited to preparing and processing journal entries, reconcile credit card statements, bank statements, inventory, prepaids, accounts receivable and accounts payable accounts.
• Create payroll journal entries to match bank feeds, clear bank feeds and categorize transactions.
• Confirm Shopify & Stripe sales totals to ensure accuracy between those platforms and Quickbooks Online
• Prepare documents/statements for tax purposes & tax basics.
• Conduct internal audits, review financial records for accuracy, identify risks, assess operational efficiency.
• Develop budgets, track spending and forecast financial performance (including COGS, CAC, CMAC).
• Manage incoming customer payments and outgoing vendor bills, ensure the leadership team is aware of monthly cash needs/projections.
• Provide recommendations to management on cost, revenue enhancement and improved financial strategies.
• Payroll support (including applicable state filings).
• Sales & Use tax support (including applicable state filings and compliance)
• Maintain loans
• 1099 annual reporting and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum of four years of experience in a similar role.

Location:

Shiner, TX. (Hybrid) Preference for in-office work. Remote work will be considered with monthly travel requirements to Shiner, TX.

Compensation & Benefits

$85,000 - $110,000, based on experience. In addition to annual salary, there’s potential for equity and bonus pool eligibility.

• Send outreach messages or DMs
• Introduce creators to the Wisephone mission
• Encourage aligned creators to apply to the affiliate program
• Follow up with interested partners
• Update the affiliate contact database
• Track outreach and responses
• Monitor affiliate sign-ups
• Help prepare welcome emails for new affiliates
• Track creator posts once content is published
• Research successful affiliate campaigns
• Monitor creator content about Wisephone
• Suggest new ideas for outreach or creator partnerships

Job Skills

• Marketing, communications, or business background
• Interested in influencer marketing or the creator economy
• Active on social media and familiar with online creators
• Organized and comfortable tracking tasks
• Curious about how brand partners with creators
• Professional communication

Extra Skills (nice to have but not required)

• Experience with Affiliatly, Klaviyo, and/or Asana

Hours:

10 -15 hours per week with flexibility around class schedules.

Compensation
